Meet in-person at preferred location (home or local business), for an introduction and interview.
2 prenatal appointments in-person (or virtual; if applicable). We will discuss your birth plans/desires; your preparations for birth; concerns and questions; positions/coping techniques; and daily practices to prepare your body and mind for birth. In addition, we will discuss feeding and postpartum plans for mom and baby. Each meeting will be about 60-90 minutes long.
24/7 Text and Phone Call support throughout your pregnancy. Beginning week 37, I will be on-call for labor support until your 42nd week (based on EDD).
We will discuss when to meet for your birth during our last prenatal appointment. During Labor, I will help with comfort measures and continuous strategies throughout the labor and birth.
I will continue your birth support into the immediate postpartum support. This can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours after the birth. If breastfeeding is planned, I will plan to stay until the first nursing session is complete.
Around the first week after birth, we will plan a postpartum visit to discuss day-to-day routines, and practical postpartum expectations. This will be about a 60-90 minute (based on client needs) meeting.
I will be available for breastfeeding/bottle feeding support, and will also provide referrals and suggestions to any local resources (as needed).
